The consultancy session, and what sits around it

A session is one to one, built around your time in the pod. You leave with a written report, and we spend more of the session listening than measuring.

How a session unfolds

This is the full consultancy session, step by step. A first visit simply takes a little longer, because everything does when nothing is familiar yet.
  1. Arrive

    Welcome

We greet you by name and ask how you are today. On a first visit we take a little longer over this; if you have been before, we pick up where we left off.

  2. Arrive

    The cabin, up close

On a first visit you open the cabin yourself, sit in it with the door open, try the temperature panel and see how to stop at any moment. If you already know the pod, we go straight to setting it up for you.

  3. Prepare

Set up the way you like

A quiet moment to go through how the session works and tell us how you want the cabin: how warm, which colour of light, and what you would like to hear.

  4. Measure

    Baseline reading

A few calm moments of sitting still while we take the first of the two readings.

  5. Recover

    In the cabin

Your time in the pod, with the music programme playing and the cabin exactly as you asked for it.

  6. Recover

    Cool down

Water, time to dress, and a proper pause to cool down before we measure again. The heat keeps your heart rate up, so this matters.

  7. Measure again

    Second reading

The same measurement in the same conditions, so the two are comparable.

  8. Reflect

    The conversation

How it was, in your words first. Then the numbers, then one thing worth trying, written on a card in your own words.

Afterwards you receive a written report with the readings, what they mean, and the notes from the conversation.

Measure and recover

Measured with our ring

The readings come from our own sensing ring. It records skin conductance, heart-rate variability and pulse, the small signals that show how much strain the body is carrying. You wear it for the first reading and again after the pod, and both are compared against your own baseline, so the report shows how you actually recovered.

Indicators, not a diagnosis.

What we offer

The consultancy session

One person, one hour

The full session above: conversation, two readings, time in the pod, and a written report afterwards.

  • One to one
  • Report included

The essential session

For people who would rather not talk

The pod without the consultancy. A different session rather than a lesser one: the welcome, the cabin set for you, the silence and the quiet close all stay. We simply leave out the questions and the debrief.

  • Shorter and quieter
  • Measurement optional

Workshops

For groups and teams

Sessions on stress and recovery for groups. Arranged directly with us, so tell us the group and what you are hoping for.

How we work

1

Your experience first

We ask how it was before we show you a single number, every time and in that order.

2

Listening is most of it

Being properly heard for a moment beats a list of excellent tips. We ask before we offer anything.

3

One thing, not a list

If something might help, we practise it with you briefly and write it on a card in your words.

4

Nothing hidden

If a reading moved the way you would not expect, we tell you and explain why that happens.
